Blue Cardinal is located in Highwood, Illinois.
This past weekend, Highwood was going for the
Guinness Book of World Records for the most lit, carved pumpkins--32,000!!
HGTV was there too, to film the happenings for a new show
called "Pumpkin Wars". We'll find out on Halloween if they broke the record but for now here are some pics from the weekend!

Added a tower of cameras to Blue Cardinal today!
They are all on an old film display piece from a store. Also used some old store display pieces to hold photos. I just love any kind of old camera...don't you?

Another great
antiquing trip
in Minneapolis
last week!
We made it to the Junk Bonanza
last week for the fifth year
and were number 7 and 8
in line
among the Early Bird shoppers.
(Now THAT's dedication, right?)

and nationally-known vintage junk guru ---
getting ready
to have a few pictures taken
shortly after 6:30 am
at the Canterbury Park
racetrack in Shakopee, MN
on Thursday morning.
