Vintage Christmas
vignettes around the house.
Collections and things we love to
collect during the year at sales,
flea markets, fairs,
shops, and auctions.

These treasures would include:
- bottle brush trees and wreaths
- Putz mica glitter houses and churches
- felted deer and animals
- old glass fish bowls and glass battery jars
- vintage plaid lunch boxes
- old ornaments
- mercury glass beads

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Iron chairs get a little makeover!

Sunday, November 6, 2011

We picked up two of these iron chairs
in over the summer.
They aren't very old
and they lacked .....something?

Well, add a couple coats of
Paris Gray
Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, some
freehand brush strokes,
plus a combination of her clear
and dark waxes to seal them....
and whaa-laa --
here they are now.

What do you think?

They will be going
to the shop today for sale.

Come by and take a look!

Blue Cardinal is open seven days a week. Stop by soon!
